I just felt so alone in my feelings. I was shocked that the jury hardly deliberated. It was as if they were already convinced before they even went to trial. I guess I just know what it's like to be under the spell of religious dogma and then her with her history of mental illness, she was just a time bomb. Also, being a mother who went through some very hellish times under circumstances that nearly drove me crazy, I guess I can just understand how she was pushed over the edge and that she is obviously mentally ill. A normal, loving mother wouldn't do that and she was by all accounts, a normal loving mother. I think she must suffer from schizophrenia.
