"Violence, poverty, and emotional, sexual & physical abuse are mental health issues. So is recreational drug use"
You went on movingorg, saying or quoting something similar.I have no problem with some of that
defining, what appears to be a mental health issue
(though probably depending on the various "schools", you know better & actually I don't care too much, sorry, about them - being a bit prejudiced against dear old psychologist, who e.g. declare convicts to be healed & then those same
people commit the most atrocious crimes...I am a bit biased, I guess.May be the One flew over the
cuckoos-nest-watching-syndrome.Whatever...)
But please tell me, explain me, what on earth & in the sky & heavens poverty has to do with it????
That I really care to understand.Want to believe
I am a bit sane, since not very rich ,( but compared with the really poor!?...).I am sure, I misunderstood. It couldn't be what I assumed, for sanities sake...heeeeeelp!
(Maybe the majority of issues are "active" & poverty is a circumstance - "passive" - being able to lead to mental health issues???But on the active side we can also speak of guilt, however what about poverty????)
