There is a LOT of "fundamentalist" madness behind the madness of Andrea Yates. Where do you think she got ALL those ideas about being the Devil etc.? She felt she was not 'good enough' to live a life of faith, just as many of us when we were in the group used as baby factories and living in poor conditions. Is that ANY wonder?
She was very vulnerable to mental illness and in the WRONG environment with the wrong ppl.
Do also a search on Debbie Holmes and her declarations in court concerning Andrea and her husband. There is a newsweek article online about that.
