Efforts to deny what really occurred in the family at the TOP and advocated by Berg and Zerby don't wash.
If TFI was serious about changing their image, as an organization they would have to get honest about the past. That would also involve Zerby admitting her participation in pedophiliac activity. If she did this, the appropriate consequence would be that she resign any leadership or influence over the group and face the consequences of criminal behavior.
It is clear that the problems the Family are having are related to its core sick doctrines like the current LJR and its special "Jesus words" which show the nature of TFI's current leadership.
For a person to suggest that fondling children was okay like Maria/Zerby did makes it apparent to any that would study TFI from a neutral viewpoint, that it is a deviant organization. Why else would Karen Zerby change her name legally to-- what was it? Katherine Rianna Smith?, and I think she changed it again? What legitimate person is going to do that?
