Are these not educators? Professors teaching classes? Why are you splitting hairs over semantics? You prefer your own definition of what a professor is, so what. I’m getting the idea you are the hit dog that howls. So if I equate professors teaching classes as something wrong with our education system, you take me to task for that, but you let the rest of the immoral teaching slide? You remind me of the anecdote about straining at a gnat while you swallow a camel. This concerned me and so I posted it. Instead of taking up the topic of what these educators/academies are promoting you instead chose to take issue not with educators but with the community not giving an opposing view which I found quite incredible that you could say that. So I posted something that gave the other side of the coin that showed that this is indeed becoming a mainstream point of view in the educational community and not a problem in the community. The community being that they have to buck against the prevailing tide. Predictably, you bristled at this and didn’t want to hear it, choosing instead to make ad hominem attacks at me even though you messed up the verse you were trying to quote and inferring that I am biased because I presented an opposing view. Actually, you just proved my point. So then when I thought we had moved past that and were actually having a discussion, you decided to end it with slamming me because I stated that I didn’t see enough outrage over this type of teaching in our universities and that the status quo was shifting. That is my opinion, I don’t deserve the accusation that I’m advancing robotic ideas. If anything, you are the one that is having a hard time with other opinions. Let’s give it a rest since we couldn’t even discuss the topic at hand.
